Our Postpartum Yoga class is designed to help you reconnect with your body and feel like yourself again after birth! Through gentle stretches, breathwork, and movements designed to support your recovery, with a special emphasis on pelvic floor strengthening, we’ll help you rebuild strength, improve flexibility, and ease tension all with your little one by your side.

The weeks after birth are beautiful, messy, and exhausting all at once. Your body has gone through so much, and while you’re busy caring for your baby, it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself, too. That’s where Postpartum Yoga comes in.
This class gives you a space to slow down and breathe deeply, away from the pressure to “bounce back” or do it all, and supports your postpartum recovery with gentle, intentional movement. It’s a time to stretch out tired shoulders from nursing, release tension in your hips and back, and gently reconnect with muscles that feel unfamiliar after pregnancy and birth, like your core and pelvic floor. Just as importantly, it’s a space to rest your mind and feel supported by other parents who are walking the same path.
Postpartum Yoga isn’t about performance. It’s about healing, connection, and giving yourself permission to feel good in your own body again. With your little one close by, you’ll strengthen not only your core but also your sense of calm, balance, and confidence in this new chapter of life.
What to Expect in Class
Our Postpartum Yoga class keeps the spotlight on healing and helping you reconnect with your body after birth. You’ll care for your own needs while staying close to your baby through touch, eye contact, and playful moments.
Here’s what’s included:
- Gentle warm-up to loosen tight neck, shoulders, back, and hips.
- Core + pelvic floor reset to get them working together again.
- Gentle breathwork to reduce strain on healing tissues.
- Simple posture tweaks to support feeding, carrying, and daily movement.
- Baby-bonding poses you can enjoy with your little one in your arms or nearby.
By the end of each session, you’ll feel more like yourself again and ready to take on the day with your little one.
Is This Class Right For Me?
If you’re looking for a calm, judgment-free space to heal and move at your own pace, then this class is right for you! Whether you’re weeks, months, or years postpartum, you’re welcome here.
Cleared to move: Join once your provider has given the go-ahead (often ~6 weeks, or as advised).
All birth experiences welcome: Vaginal or C-section, one baby or multiple.
Common symptoms: Weak core, shoulder/neck tension, low-back or hip ache, leaking with sneezes, coning/doming in your abs, or pressure in your pelvic floor.
Work at your own pace: Options to pause, rest, or rock your baby anytime.
**This class complements individualized care. If you’re having pain or specific pelvic health concerns, we’re happy to connect you with a local pelvic floor PT from our network.
