A closer look at New Beginnings
The newborn fog is lifting, and a new set of questions is taking its place: starting solids, unpredictable sleep schedules, getting back into your body, and remembering who you are outside of being Mom. This season was never meant to be done alone. Babies may be what brings us together, but the friendships are the reason we stay.
New Beginnings begins Monday, January 4 at 11:30 AM and meets weekly for 10 weeks. Bring your lunch and your baby. Each 90-minute gathering is time to connect and have honest conversations, with relaxed visits from trusted local experts and baby activities along the way.
Week one is dedicated to helping everyone get to know one another, and we finish in week 10 with a graduation celebration and mini photo session.

Questions
New Beginnings FAQs
Can I bring my baby?
Yes, please do. Babies come along every week, and every meetup is planned around feeds, naps, and diaper changes. Nursing, bottles, and fussy moments are all welcome.
How old should my baby be?
New Beginnings is designed for moms of babies about 4 to 9 months when the program begins. If your little one is a bit younger or older, reach out and we’ll help you find the right fit.
What if I miss a week?
Naps, sick days, and appointments happen. Your group chat, Village Journal, and provider resources will help you stay connected.
Are the expert visits formal presentations?
No. These are relaxed, conversational discussions with plenty of time to ask questions and learn alongside the other moms. Our experts expect babies in the room.
Is open play included?
Yes. Open play is included on meetup days.

Meet Your Village Ambassador
Hi! I’m Megan, mama of 1 month old Clarke.
We’re coming off a month in the NICU with our sweet miracle IVF babe, but in the before times, I was a hosting machine. We’re known and beloved for our summer movie nights, girls only valentine soirees, drop in brunch weekends, and themed dinner parties. I love to craft, thrift, take walks, and my third favorite word is yes (the first two are food and sleep).
In my twenties, I was on the board of a local non profit where I helped launch a women and non binary focused weekend summer camp for people to make new friends post pandemic after a year of hosting virtual events for our community. I currently moderate an 11k Facebook group focused on community, and I am known to be relentlessly responsive to my messages. I live and die by my Google Calendar and believe in showing up even when it’s messy.
I am so grateful to be in this season of life and am so excited to be the Village Ambassador and join this cohort as we build this community from the ground up.
