The Mom Village
Motherhood was never meant to be done alone
The Mom Village is Baby University’s community for moms. Babies may be what brings us together, but the friendships are the reason we stay.
You love being a mom.
But motherhood can still feel lonely.
You spend all day taking care of everyone else.
It’s time someone checked on you.
The Mom Village is where community meets coffee. We know how much life changes when you have a baby, and how easy it is to lose yourself in the middle of it all. Our hope is that The Mom Village will help make that transition a little easier for you.
Each meet up is 1.5 hours and is led by your Village Ambassador – a fellow mom in the thick of it just like you. Over the course of 10 weeks, you’ll hear from local providers, ask questions, have honest conversations, celebrate milestones, and rediscover yourself outside of being Mom.
You’ll receive a Village Book – part keepsake, part resource, and part reflection space. Use it to capture memories, save helpful resources, record milestones, and hold onto the moments you’ll want to remember long after this season has passed.
But the connections don’t stop there. Each cohort has its own group chat, along with access to the larger Mom Village community, making it easy to stay connected, plan playdates, keep you up during midnight feeds, and find support when you need it most.

How old should my baby be?

Hi! I’m Megan, mama of 1 month old Clarke.
We’re coming off a month in the NICU with our sweet miracle IVF babe, but in the before times, I was a hosting machine. We’re known and beloved for our summer movie nights, girls only valentine soirees, drop in brunch weekends, and themed dinner parties. I love to craft, thrift, take walks, and my third favorite word is yes (the first two are food and sleep).
In my twenties, I was on the board of a local non profit where I helped launch a women and non binary focused weekend summer camp for people to make new friends post pandemic after a year of hosting virtual events for our community. I currently moderate an 11k Facebook group focused on community, and I am known to be relentlessly responsive to my messages. I live and die by my Google Calendar and believe in showing up even when it’s messy.
I am so grateful to be in this season of life and am so excited to be the Village Ambassador and join this cohort as we build this community from the ground up.
